Yearbook Selection & Deadlines

When is the deadline to select my yearbook pose?
The deadline is October 25. If you miss the deadline, the studio will select a pose for you. Any changes requested after October 25 are not guaranteed, require you to call the studio directly, and will incur a $40 change fee.

How do I select my yearbook photo?
You must use the "Choose Yearbook Pose" feature directly on the ordering site. Note: Simply "favoriting" an image or placing a print order does not set your yearbook photo. The studio cannot see your favorited images.

Proofs & Retouching

Are the proofs I see online the final version?
No. Proofs are completely unretouched and do not reflect retouching, color corrections or final crop.

What is included in standard retouching?
All purchased images and selected yearbook photos receive complimentary professional standard retouching, unless specifically denied. This includes: removing blemishes, smoothing skin tone, toning down shine, and minimizing under-eye circles. Note: Freckles, birthmarks, and scars are not removed unless you explicitly request it in the order comments. Custom retouching beyond standard adjustments is available for $40 per image.

Packages, Prints, & Ordering

Can I include multiple poses in my package?
Each package includes a set number of allowed poses. You can use fewer poses, but exceeding the allotted number will incur a charge of $40 per extra image.

How do I order the same image in multiple sizes?
First, add the package or "First Print" of that image to your cart. Only after doing that, should you select the "Additional Print" option for that same image. If you use the "Additional Print" option without first purchasing a base print/package, you will be invoiced separately and your delivery will be delayed.

How do I order Black & White prints?
Portraits are color by default. Even if you preview the image in black and white online, the system will not save this preference. You must specify the image numbers and sizes in the order comments at checkout. Note: Packages can feature a mix of color and B&W, but wallet sets must be entirely one or the other.

What is the difference between Web-Ready and High-Res digital files?
Web-Ready Files are Low-resolution files intended strictly for social media. They are not suitable for printing. High-resolution files can be used for high-quality printing.

Casual Sessions, Delivery, & Reshoots

Where can I find my lifestyle/casual session photos?
A: Casual lifestyle sessions are handled separately from formal portraits and will appear in their own distinct gallery.

When and where will I get my order?
Orders placed by October 25 are delivered directly to the school before winter break. Orders placed after the October 25 deadline require pick up directly from the studio.

Can I get a reshoot if I don't like my proofs?
Yes. Reshoots can be scheduled for a $45 fee (by appointment, the last day to schedule a reshoot appt is Columbus day). Choosing a reshoot will not delete your original session; those images will remain available for selection.

How long do hand-painted portraits take?
These traditional, custom light oil works of art are highly specialized and take 8 to 10 weeks to complete.
